Chinese youngster signs for Luis Blanco's B team

RCD Espanyol have signed Tan Kaiyuan for the B team squad.

Espanyol have reached an agreement with Guangzhou FC for the transfer of Tan, who joins up with Luis Blanco’s squad in the Segunda RFEF. Thus, Kaiyuan signs with the Club until the end of the 2023/24 season, with the option of a one-year extension.

Tan, born in 2001, is an attacking midfielder who can also play in several attacking positions. He debuted in the Chinese Super League in 2020 at the age of 18, where he went on to make 24 senior appearances for Ghangzhou.
