Sergio Sánchez, last signing
The Catalan defender arrives from Rubin Kazan
RCD Espanyol has completed their squad with the signing of the Catalan defender Sergio Sánchez (Mataró, 1986), who is going to play on loan by Rubin Kazan until the end of the season. The Catalan can play as central back or right wing back.
This will be the third stage of Sergio Sánchez in Espanyol. The Catalan made his debut in the First Division with the white and blue team in the 2004-2005 against R. Zaragoza. In the first team he played two seasons before being on loan to Real Madrid Castilla and Real Racing Club de Santander. After his passage through the Cantabrian club he returned to the discipline of the white and blue squad.
In the summer of 2009 Sergio Sánchez signs for Sevilla where he plays two seasons before signing for Malaga where he played four courses. The defender leaves the Spanish league to play for Panathinaikos FC where he was a campaign before joining Rubin Kazan, his last team.
The agreement is subject to overcoming the medical review at the Clinic Creu Blanca, scheduled on Sunday morning. The player will be presented at the Auditorium of the RCDE Stadium on Monday at 13.30h before the media accredited by the club.
