Rubi dissasociates himself from RCD Espanyol de Barcelona
The cancellation clause has been paid this morning
Joan Francesc Ferrer Sicília "Rubi" has paid this morning the amount of his cancellation clause and, in this way, he disassociates himself from the RCD Espanyol of Barcelona, as the manager already communicated last week to the president Chen Yansheng.
Rubi joined the first team of the Catalan club last summer, from SD Huesca. This season, the coach from Vilassar de Mar has led the main squad in 44 official matches between the League and the Spanish Cup, summing up 16 wins, 13 draws and 15 defeats. The white and blue team finished in the seventh position, achieving 53 points, gaining access to the Europa League qualifying phase, and reached the quarterfinals of the Cup competition.
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona would like to reaffirm its personal and professional commitment with the up to now coach, who has been repeatedly shown support for his football philosophy and wishes him good luck in his new post.
