Rubén Sánchez recalled by RCD Espanyol

The academy graduate will form part of the men's first team for the second half of the season

RCD Espanyol has decided to recall Rubén Sánchez from his loan at CD Mirandés.

The Club has activated the clause in the full-back’s loan deal that allowed him to be recalled in the event of a long-term injury to a men’s first team player, as is the case of Edu Expósito, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury last week.

Rubén made 21 appearances for the fellow LALIGA Hypermotion side, 19 of which were from the starting XI since his debut off the bench in Mirandés’ 1-1 draw at SD Huesca. The 22-year-old will return to the men’s first team dynamics in the coming hours.
