Renewal agreement with the RCDE Academy of New Jersey
The club continues to back training by developing training centres and opportunities on an international level
RCD Espanyol and the New Jersey partner have recently renewed their collaboration agreement. This will be extendible for at least another four years.
The RCDE Academy of New Jersey was the first to open in the American continent. With a presence there since 2017, the academy already has 300 players. The centre is an example for the whole state of New Jersey. It captures talent, trains players and managers.
At the RCDE Academy of New Jersey, they trust in the first-rate training model designed by Espanyol. This enables the club to have an international presence, and to closely monitor talented footballers in the US.
The signing was attended by International Travel Manager of the RCDE Academy of NJ, David de Sivatte, and CEO of RCD Espanyol, José María Durán. Coordinator Albert Saus and Director Eloy Pérez of Espanyol’s international training projects were also present at the meeting.
