RCDE open new academy in Tripoli

60 local players are already part of the initiative

This September, Espanyol have started up a new academy with a local partner in Tripoli, Libya. In the first week of the course, 60 local players have already been registered. It is hoped that, with this initiative, young Libyans can benefit from the RCDE methodology and that one day they can come visit us in Barcelona.

The club began its international journey in 2014 and, using this experience and up-to-date knowledge, we now want to get closer to the Libyan community and be of great use both in the present and in the long term. RCD Espanyol are proud to find stable projects, with different international actors, all over the world. This international interest is proof that RCD Espanyol have achieved success with the club's Academies.
