RCD Espanyol welcome K-League delegation
K-League CEOs and LALIGA executives visit the RCDE Stadium to learn about business models
RCD Espanyol received a delegation of CEOs from South Korea's K League, accompanied by executives from the competition and representatives from LALIGA, for a day dedicated to sharing experiences and knowledge about the management and development of a football club.
During the visit, the deputy general manager of RCD Espanyol, Antoni Alegre, gave a talk on the club's business model, focusing on two key areas: B2B and B2C. For the former, initiatives related to sponsorship, hospitality, matchday experiences, events, international tours and rental of venues were addressed. In B2C area, strategies around ticketing, season tickets, retail and the club's schools were highlighted, in addition to the internationalisation projects that are expanding the Espanyol brand globally.
After the talk, the delegation were given a tour of the RCDE Stadium. During the visit they were able to see around a cutting edge stadium internationally recognised for its structure, sustainability, modernity and versatility.
This visit is part of RCD Espanyol's efforts to establish the club as leading light in sports and business management, strengthening ties at an international level.
