RCD Espanyol scoop four prizes at Golsmedia awards

Fortuño, Villahermosa, Koleosho and Cobacho all receive honours

RCD Espanyol were one of the main protagonists in the 2022 Golsmedia Awards. Three of the club's representatives were recognised in the gala held at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas in Madrid, in awards chosen by digital newspaper Golsmedia.

The winners were chosen by voting amongst Golsmedia readers, the press and the coaches of each of the categories to which the awards corresponded.

Ángel Fortuño was voted Best Goalkeeper in Segunda RFEF, while Dani Villahermosa was Best Player in Segunda RFEF. Luca Koleosho received the award for Best Player in Grupo 3 of the 2021/22 División de Honor Juvenil. Óscar Cobacho was named Best Coach in his group.

Joan Capdevila also received recognition at the gala for his professional career and successes with the Spain national team.
