RCD Espanyol players increase scoring numbers
Four players up their tallies for the season

The 0-4 victory against Rayo Vallecano saw three players amongst the goals, bringing with it some personal records.
Javi Puado, who once again wore the captain's armband, scored his tenth goal of the season. The forward opened his account this season against Deportivo Alavés with a hat trick and continued to increase his tally in the first half of the season against FC Barcelona, Girona, and Valencia. In this second half of the campaign, Puado has scored against Real Valladolid, Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, and now Rayo Vallecano.
This is the first time in his career that he has reached ten goals in the Primera División, and there are still nine matches left for him to add to his account.
Leandro Cabrera was celebrating his 200th competitive appearance for RCD Espanyol, and did so with his third goal this season. He had previously scored against Celta Vigo and Leganés. Cabrera had never got three goals in the same season for the club.
Roberto Fernández scored his third goal of the season—his first away from home—after a great pass from Javi Puado. The forward, who arrived in the winter transfer window, has earned the team seven points through his strikes.
Finally, Pere Milla opened his account for RCD Espanyol in the Primera División. The forward, who hadn't scored in the top fligt since February 2023, took advantage of a fine pass from Aguado to convert.
