Leandro Cabrera, one of the RCD Espanyol captains, reached his 200th official appearance for the club in the game against Rayo Vallecano. The Uruguayan is having a great season at the heart of the team’s defence.

Cabrera joined RCD Espanyol in January 2020 and made his debut against Athletic Club a few days later. Since his signing for Espanyol, he has consistently been one of the most frequently used players by several coaches.

Respected by his teammates, he is a leader in the dressing room and a key figure. In addition to his defensive prowess, Cabrera has scored six goals for Espanyol, including the opener against Rayo Vallecano.
