RCD Espanyol's under-15s competed in the Asiana Cup in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta
RCD Espanyol’s under-15s “Cadete B” finished as runners-up in the Asiana Cup, which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia from 26th to 29th October.
The young pericos coached by Sergio Espejo travelled to the Indonesian capital to compete in the competition, facing teams from Malaysia, South Korea and Vietnam in the GBK national stadium.
They only missed out on the title on goal difference, winning all but one of their seven matches. Espanyol finished the tournament with six wins, 28 goals scored and just four conceded.
Thanks to tournaments like this, our academy boys have been able to enjoy a fantastic experience that goes beyond the pitch, while experiencing a new culture and country in Indonesia alongside their teammates.
