RCD Espanyol Femenino look to recover against Athletic Club B

The women's team are back home for a Sunday league fixture

After their setback in A Coruña, RCD Espanyol Femenino are looking to bounce back and take all three points against Athletic Club B this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, held at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque on Sunday at 11:30am CET, coach Carol Miranda spoke about the task ahead.

“We want to give a better showing in front of the fans, perform at our best and get back to winning ways after the defeat last Saturday," she said.

"From the first day after that game, we had a session in which we were self-critical, and we all know that we must show what we can do on Sunday on the pitch to get the three points."

Lastly, she pointed out that Athletic Club "are a young B team that play with great intensity and have players with very good technique. If you let them play they can be very dangerous and if you give them space they can do a lot of damage. They want to show that they can play in the first team and that makes them more dangerous."
