Raúl de Tomás signs!
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona has completed the signing of striker Raúl de Tomás (Madrid, 17-10-1994) from Benfica. He has signed a contract until the 30th June 2026
A product of the Real Madrid academy (coincidentally making his first team debut against Cornellà in the Copa del Rey at the RCDE Stadium), he has played for Córdoba, Real Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano. The striker, from Madrid, made his debut in the top flight for Rayo Vallecano. In his debut season in La Liga, he was his team’s top scorer with 14 goals. His excellent season for the side from Vallecas allowed him to make the jump to Benfica, one of Europe’s great clubs.
The Madrilenian is one of the country’s top strikers and a player with a bright future, as his career statistics (14 First Division goals and 51 Second Division goals) go to show.
Raúl de Tomás, a Spanish U-19 international, will be presented this Thursday at 16:30h in the Juan Segura Palomares Auditorium in an act exclusive to accredited media, following the completion of the player’s medical at the Corachan Clinic.
