Melendo applauds the team's good spell and only hopes to improve the level away from home
Óscar Melendo is very satisfied with the level that the team has achieved. He says that "we are in a very good dynamic" and applauds "the level of display" that the team has achieved in home games, which are all victories. "Fans are enjoying and now we only hope to improve that level away from home", he said.
He said that he continues working the same every week with the intention "to be in the list and have minutes. My virtues are put at the service of the team and it is the coach who has to value them".
He said that this league stop "will suit us to prepare the game against Huesca" with the aim of getting the first away victory, although he argues that, with the new manager in Huesca, "their players will be very excited and will want to change their current performance".
He said that Rubi "is showing us his trust in the players and transmits his idea of play" and underlines that "we have to go game by game and not look any further. I think we're doing well away. We lost against Alavés through a couple of details, in Balaídos we almost won and in Bernabéu we could have easily scored. Hopefully we can enjoy our first victory away".
