Profiled the preseason

Espanyol will start in La Garrotxa, will tour in the United States, play against Burnley and reserve the option of two more matches in the last week of practice for the new season

The first team of RCD Espanyol will return to the activity on July 9th. The players are given two days to pass the relevant medical check-ups and the first training sessions. On July 11th, the team will travel to La Garrotxa, near Olot, where they will stay until the 19th, when the first preparation match against the EU Olot is scheduled.

The team will continue the preparation in Barcelona before moving to the United States for a double confrontation. From the 23rd to the 27th, they will concentrate in Richmond (Virginia) where they will play the first match against the local team. For the second match, RCD Espanyol will move to Cincinnati (Ohio) where they will play on the 28th, at 7:00 pm (local time) at Nippert Stadium, against Cincinnati FC of MLS. After the match, the team will return to Barcelona to begin the fourth week of practice. The following commitment is set for August 5 against Burnley FC, at their stadium, at 13.30 (local time).

Both the sports management and the technical staff of the first team are working on the idea of closing the preseason with two games for the week of August 6th to 12th. At this time the club is studying several options, depending on the availability of dates and rivals, which will materialize in the coming days.
