"Positive mentality"
Darder continues to fuel the idea of maintaining an ambitious attitude in every match because "much remains to be done"
Sergi Darder is called to be one of the reference players this season, not only for his game, but also for the influence he is gaining in the team. That is why, despite the good streak of results that the team adds, he knows that "you have to have your feet on the ground" and said that "in Vigo we went out to win and I said that the tie was good if we won in Valencia."
He said that these results "give us strength and confidence to keep improving" and reiterates that the costume maintains "a humble attitude." The next test is this Sunday against Alavés, one of those teams "looking for direct play, duels and second plays. If we do not control it, we can suffer. Last year they scored us in the first minute and then, despite playing ten and dominating the whole game, we could not tie. It is a field not particularly favourable for us but we will try to change that dynamic. We're really looking forward to it".
Darder also thinks that "if last year, with a more defensive block, we were able to win the big ones, now we do not have to lose that and we must have a positive mindset. If anyone thinks that we will win all the games, it will be wrong, but if we think we can have options and, above we have that ambition, it could be more feasible. We have a very strong team with the ball. It is not enough with what we have done. Much remains to be done. We will go to Vitoria to win and thus each game".
