Pol Lozano renews until 2023

The midfielder, one of the greatest talents born of the Academy, signs for five seasons

RCD Espanyol has ensured the continuity of one of the most talented players in their Academy. The club has closed the renewal of midfielder Pol Lozano (Sant Quirze del Vallés, 06/10/1999), who will continue to wear the colours of the Blue and Whites until June 30th, 2023 with a clause of 40 million euros. The signing of the new contract took place this Wednesday at the RCDE Stadium with the presence of the sports general director, Óscar Perarnau.

Pol Lozano will continue one more season in the Blue and White team and, from the next one, will become a member of the first squad to all effects.

International in the lower categories of the Spanish national team, Pol Lozano has completed an excellent season with Espanyol B despite being a junior last year. The Catalan has been an essential player for the managers David Gallego and Carlos Castro and has even trained several times with the first team mates.

Pol Lozano is another example of the excellent work that is done in the base football of RCD Espanyol. Pol came to the club in prebenjamin age from Mercantil and has gone through all the teams of the structure to reach the Espanyol B. Heart perico, Pol Lozano is the perfect icon of what Espanyol represents.
