Open training session attended by hundreds of fans

Club legend Thomas N'Kono is also present on the Bank Holiday occasion

Several hundred RCD Espanyol fans watched an open first team training session at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque on Tuesday.

Also in attendance was a club legend, as Thomas N'Kono, a former goalkeeper for RCD Espanyol and Cameroon, received a standing ovation on his visit to the training facility.

The stands were packed with fans wearing the 2022/23 home shirt, the pink away shirt and kits from previous seasons, as they watched coach Diego Martínez put the team through their paces.

After the session, footballs were sent into the crowd as souvenirs and players signed autographs to culminate a spectacular day.
