New medical director appointed

Narciso Amigó de Bonet Sans occupies the role

Dr. Narciso Amigó de Bonet Sans has been appointed as the new medical director for RCD Espanyol, taking care of the first team, as well as youth football and women's football teams.

A graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona and a doctor in both disciplines from the University of Zaragoza, Amigó de Bonet is also a specialist in general medicine, occupational medicine, maritime medicine and an expert in sports medicine.

Part of RCD Espanyol since 1985, throughout his career he has held different positions at the club. He was also the medical director of the Barcelona Port Authority until 2020. In 2013 he received the 'Medalla al Treball President Macià' awarded from the Generalitat de Catalonia, recognising those who have stood out for their qualities, professional merits or services provided to benefit general interests within the world of work.
