Rubi said that the team played a good match but recognizes that the important thing is to give continuity
Joan Francesc Ferrer 'Rubi' has lived one of his best afternoons as a professional. Espanyol have won and convinced in their first match at the RCDE Stadium this season. Clear and deserved victory against a Valencia that went from more to less. "You asked me what my dream would be and it has been fulfilled. We have gone from less to more. Despite the euphoria generated after the victory, the coach has insisted that the difficulty "is not to make a good game but to do so on a continuous basis. Rubi, in this sense, thanked the players for believing in the message of the coaching staff: "We work hard and the players believe our message, but we must be careful because there is a lot left".
Regarding the lineup, Rubi has said he was happy "with Balaídos' line up", but he remarked that "this is a warning for everyone; anyone can enter. If the coach believes it is convenient to make changes, they will be made".
