Moreno: "We have to do much better"
The coach describes the showing against Celta as "a bad game"
Vicente Moreno pulled no punches in his post-match assessment of the game against Celta Vigo, saying that “I don't know if it was one of our worst games, but it was a bad game. In the first minute we lost the ball four times and in the second minute they scored. I think we were very far off them, and that prevented us from putting them in difficulties. When we got the ball back, we lost it very easily. We had a clear chance, but we didn't convert it."
The coach added that "We gave the opposition an easy game -without taking away any merit from them- but if we look at ourselves, we have to do much better. Today we were very far from what we want to be as a team."
Moreno also pointed out that “conceding six goals in two games is a hard stat to swallow. If you concede three goals as easily as we did today, it makes it very difficult for you to win. I told the players at halftime not to give up. I thought we could score in the second half and get into the game, but they scored again, right away. Today we are very annoyed by the showing that we gave."
