Nico Melamed will undergo surgery on his shoulder

RCD Espanyol player Nico Melamed will undergo surgery this Tuesday, for the recurrent dislocation in his left shoulder.

The forward will be operated on by Dr. Cugat's team at the Quirón Clinic, in a physical problem that has prevented him from featuring in the team's recent matches. Both the Club and Melamed understand that surgical intervention is the best solution to end this injury that is making it impossible for him to compete at his full physical capacity.

Melamed will undergo the arthroscopy on Tuesday afternoon and, in principle, should be discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. The player, following the usual plan, will begin the first part of the recovery at the Quirón Clinic. His development and recovery will mark his availability.
