Martínez: "The stay in Murcia has helped us move preparations forward"
The coach reflects on the friendly against KV Mechelen
RCD Espanyol coach Diego Martínez reviewed the 1-1 draw against KV Mechelen and the mid-season training camp in Murcia in general, following the Wednesday fixture.
"The most important thing is that there have been no injuries and there have been players who have had minutes to continue getting on the pace," said Martínez.
"All games of this type have phases that are better or worse. There are things to improve, as always, and others that have been done well and must be continued”.
Lastly, he underlined that the stay in Murcia has served to "move forward with our preparation, and we have managed to do so without picking up any new injuries."
