Marc Navarro transferred to Watford
The blue and white defender leaves the team to play in England
Marc Navarro leaves the discipline of RCD Espanyol to join English Watford FC, after the agreement reached by both clubs in the last hours to close his transfer to the Premier League for two million euros.
The young Catalan defender has had a clear projection in his stage as a professional at Espanyol. Last season he played for both the second and first teams, where he finally consolidated and managed to score a pair of goals, while this year he has already started with a professional record and has played 19 games in the first team, in which he has scored a goal.
Marc Navarro leaves the Catalan entity, where he arrived from Damm at a young age, after three seasons in the second team and one in the first team.
The winger has defended the Espanyol shield with professionalism, pride and passion since the first day and has received recognition from the club and its fans. In this new stage that faces we wish him the best of luck and success both personally and in sports.
RCD Espanyol considers this operation satisfactory at all levels given that the right-back position is sufficiently covered both with players with the first team record, and with the projection shown by players of the subsidiary and of the youth soccer thatplays in the same position.
