Luis García departs RCD Espanyol
RCD Espanyol has decided to part ways with Luis García as coach of the men’s first team.
Recent results lead our Club to make this decision with the sole and clear objective of achieving promotion to the top flight.
The Club, on behalf of its president, Chen Yansheng, and its Board of Directors, thanks Luis and his coaching staff for their effort, commitment and involvement since taking charge in April of last season. Everyone at RCD Espanyol wishes him the best of luck in his future professional and personal endeavours.
García, a fan favourite of the 21st century, has always shown unconditional love for the white-and-blue colours and has defended the institution above all else. He is a key figure in Espanyol history, both for his sporting performance and for his commitment in other aspects.
