Luis Blanco: "Small details will be decisive"
The RCD Espanyol B coach looks ahead to the match with CD Ebro
RCD Espanyol B continue their Segunda RFEF campaign on Saturday at home to CD Ebro, as they look to keep going in the fight for the play-offs.
Speaking ahead of the clash at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque, coach Luis Blanco said, "The work last week was very good. We faced the league leaders and we were close to taking the victory, but we ended up with a point. In any case, a win this weekend at home would make that point a positive".
He continued, "We are working to reaffirm those good feelings that we had. We have not taken all the points we wanted, but we are playing at a good level. We are clear about where we want to be. Small details will be decisive as to what will happen in this final stretch. Every match is vital and is it clear that we must approach this one with the same energy as always. We have the responsibility to do things well and take the three points."
Finally, on visitors CD Ebro, Blanco concluded, "They are very competitive. They seemed like clear candidates for relegation, but they have reacted and got results. It's going to be difficult, like all the games in this division, because any opponent can hurt you. You have to have maximum concentration and attention".
