Granero believes that "there is time to try to win and grow because we want to finish the best way we can"
Esteban Granero always has a reflexive and relaxed opinion. In the final section of the championship he insists on the idea that there is still time "to try to win and to grow" and reiterates that "the League is not over" and that the evaluations will have to be done then. He is optimistic and understands that there are opportunities "to end the year with good feelings and in a position that will generate more confidence and security" for next season.
Balance: "The League is not over. When finished we will make an assessment that will go beyond talking about successes or failures. We will analyse the things that we have done wrong to try to improve them next year and those that we have done well, reinforce them. It has to be an in-depth analysis
Physical state: "We arrived well, at a good time. Work at the physical level is important. We are a team that runs a lot and well. I do not think we're going to miss it".
Goals for and against: "We have made fewer goals than we would like. We think that with more goals the jump in the classification would be great. The goal is the last kick to the ball and, therefore, the analysis is complex. In terms of participation, players who are not strikers have to take on and participate in that task.”
End of championship: "There are eight games left and there is time to try to win and to grow. We want to be as high as possible and that happens by thinking every week, game by game, trying to win the maximum possible. In the end, the classification will put us where we deserve".
Thinking positive: "We are optimistic and we think that we can chain victories that make us end good feelings by season's end. We want to finish in a position that generates more confidence and security in preparation for next year. It is not the same to be 9 or 12".
Valencia: "It's a very interesting match. They are generating many situations of security and confidence. They have a coach with a clear path. We know Valencia well. We have competed well against the big ones and winning would be a blow on the table".
Classification: "It is true that we are not where we would like to be, but it is not due to lack of work. We have worked hard but we have not managed to be where we want to be. On Sunday we will try to make a good match. "
