Rufete values the market and ensures that the club has an opportunity to grow
After the summer market, the sports general director, Óscar Perarnau, and the professional football director, Francisco Joaquín Pérez Rufete, reviewed the movements that took place this summer and the decisions made by the management. "The market gives you the possibility to improve the team, but I am very happy with what we have. We talk about performance. We want them to train, to win and play every weekend to win. That's what we're going to try to transmit every day".
The director of professional football has indicated that "we have done the maximum of what we could. The market is over and now we have to start building a club. The important thing right now is to work to continue adding points and start being a normal football club. We would like everyone to be much better because of the expectations they have, but I am realistic and only believe in working hard. We have a very good squad. Rubi is doing a very good job". Rufete understands that the fans would have liked "more market movements, but I came with the intention of putting order". In this sense, he indicated that "we are in order now and we have a starting point. From there we have to generate illusion in the field. The players who are going to feel the club, from the humility and the work of every day, but also with ambition". In this context, he said that "we would have liked to be a little stronger to bring a more important player, but we have to work so that our players are important. Rubi is happy because he has seen that we have worked a lot".
Rufete has made it clear that it is "the best team and the one we want. This squad also needs this opportunity to demonstrate how good they are. It is what we want and we have been able to make. They want to be here and that's how a club can start to grow".

Óscar Perarnau, on the other hand, pointed out that "we are realistic. There is a fundamental triangle: sports performance, financial reality and the fans, who deserve to be happy every Sunday".
