"I finished with the feeling of a united team"
Óscar Duarte remarked that the good performance of the team during 80 minutes and regrets the last 10 "that almost cost us dearly"
Óscar Duarte returned to play against Las Palmas after nine months and leaving behind a knee injury. “It was emotional to see that the injury was behind" and hopes that his work can put him back in the starting line once more.
“It was a different team, which was able to handle the game for 80 minutes, but gave away the last 10 and that almost costs us dearly. I'm left with the feeling of a united team and that was always ahead. That's what you have to value and that's what I'm left with. We can’t afford those mistakes. We have to improve and it's something we work on. If when you win things are corrected, when you do not win, too".
He said that the draw leaves them "a strange sensation because the match was controlled and dominated. During those 80 minutes we did very well. The team is strong, united, calm and eager to move forward. We work well and that is what will give us peace of mind".
He insists that, just a few hours later, the squad remains calm and confirms that "if we look at the classification, with two victories we will be up. In fact, if we had won, we would be in the 12th position. It's all very close together, very tight. Things change. We hope to catch a good run to be up. That is the goal that we have set and it will soon be achieved and we will be where we deserve".
