"I came to help"
Ferreyra says the team is already thinking about this Sunday's game against Sevilla
"I am happy. I came to a great club and I came to help. I knew in the circumstances in which I arrived and with the desire to give the best of me", said Facundo Ferreyra, the blue and white striker who made his debut against Athletic and scored his first goal.
Ensures that "I have no problem playing with another striker by my side," he explains when asked about the possibility of sharing spaces with Borja Iglesias. "If I have to play like that, I'll play. And if I have to wait for another opportunity, I'll wait. I will always try to give my best for the team".
Stresses that in the dressing room are "focused on our game" thinking about the game against Sevilla. "If we give it intensity, surely it will be fine," he insists.
He is happy with his two new mates Wu Lei and Alfa Semedo, the two companions who arrived with him in the winter market. "Wu Lei surprised in a positive way. He has a lot of goals, he is a good player and thanks to him I was able to score against Athletic", he points out and reveals that "I see Alfa with great enthusiasm. He knows he did not have a few good minutes against Huesca, but I know the level he has because he played with me at Benfica and will be able to show that he is a great player".
