"I am Espanyol’s coach and I will be it"
Quique insists on his commitment with the club and remembers that "I'm happy and I only have to worry about the next game"
Quique Sánchez Flores has ratified his total commitment to Espanyol and, despite the interest shown by Stoke City to get his services, will remain linked to the Catalan team. His answers on this subject, exhaustive at times, have occupied practically all the time of the press conference prior to the game against Athletic Club this Sunday.
"I do not talk about me, I do not like it and I do not want to do it. I am here and at no time have I said otherwise. I have nothing more to say about me. They tell the facts and nothing else. The facts are that the players do not want to leave and the coach also continues. I am the coach of Espanyol and I will be it".
"I like the relationship I have with my players, I like what we generate in the stadium, I like to achieve goals and that Espanyol grows. I live in a big city, I play in one of the best leagues. I have reasons to be happy. I understand that the news worry, but I have nothing to tell about me. My context is very happy. I have nothing to add, I just have to worry about the next League match".
