'Halo Indonesia'
Espanyol is already in Jakarta where they will face, this Wednesday, the first friendly of the preseason
Smiles, lots of friendly gestures and a flattering and enthusiastic welcome. The blue and white expedition landed in Jakarta and will face in the next 48 hours, not only the first friendly engagement of the preseason, but also an agenda full of social activities, solidarity, as well as other institutional and sponsorship commitments.
The first team of Espanyol will live in Indonesia, after an intense preparation week in Barcelona, a friendly against Persija Jakarta (one of the two most important teams in the local league). Quique Sánchez Flores has moved 19 players to Indonesia where they will join Edu Frias, goalkeeper of the second team, and Tommy N'Kono, goalkeeping coach who has acted, in some way, as ambassador of the club during these days. In the last hours, and ahead of the expedition, has also travelled the CEO of Espanyol, Ramon Robert.
In addition to the sporting commitment, the blue and white team will have to attend some institutional events, specific to the club and LaLiga, which have been added for the third consecutive year to the Catalan expedition to participate in its 'LaLiga' program, an initiative involving First Division teams that act as ambassadors of the championship and are shown in markets, such as the Asian, very interested in everything that happens in both 'LaLiga Santander' and 'LaLiga 123'.
