Gragera to undergo surgery
The midfielder will receive treatment for hallux rigidus
José Gragera will undergo surgery on Tuesday for an injury to the big toe of his left foot.
Hallux rigidus, which consists of limited movement and the development of osteoarthritis of the metatarsophalangeal joint, with a loss of cartilage between the first metatarsal and the phalanx of the big toe, have given him increasing discomfort.
Gragera has been suffering from this injury since last season and has had to receive injections to play during the last few months. It is estimated that, depending on his recovery progress, he will be out for around three months.
