García: "We are going to miss the fans"
The coach talks ahead of the team's home debut behind closed doors
RCD Espanyol coach Luis García talked ahead of his side's game against Racing Santander, and said that he continues to have full confidence in the current squad at his disposal.
"I am convinced that the players are committed and want to improve. Maybe football doesn't give you the results you want, as we saw with our draw last weekend," he told the media in his pre-match press conference.
The coach also considers that playing behind closed doors "is a negative. We are going to miss the fans, because they always push us on and support us."
"Racing Santander are a good team. Defensively they are very solid and the other day they beat a team that could be fighting for the top positions come the end of the season. They play with a lot of intensity and excel on set pieces."
Finally, he points out that Pere Milla “is a player who has versatility and will bring us many things. He is excited and eager. He already played a few minutes the other day and is available."
