García: "I'm pleased with the dynamics"
The coach assesses the training camp in Marbella
RCD Espanyol ended their stay in Marbella with a 1-0 victory against Al Wakrah, and coach Luis García explained that he was "happy with the work, above the results" from the past few days in Southern Spain.
"I'm pleased with both the working dynamics and the fact that we were able reinforce the concepts of our ideas," he told the media after the win over the Qatari side.
“There is progress in the team. The players have worked very well, with great intensity. Obviously there is freshness lacking in terms of assimilating ideas, but that's normal. We have to be more dynamic and decisive in the opposing area, occupy the space better and continue defending together," García assessed.
Asked about the transfer market, he commented that he is clear that the squad will be "different" when the summer ends.
"We have to choose well, manage the time we have left and see what the salary limit is. I'm optimistic because things are being done well. We would all like to have the players here already, but we must be patient."
