"Focused on Monday"
Javi López highlights the competitiveness of the squad and pretty similar level that exists in the League
Javi López is again fully available for the coach. Last Friday, against Levante, already entered the call and now, a week later, he continues advancing firmly in reaching again the competitive rhythm. "I am fully recovered and happy to be with the group", he said and reminds that in the preseason "I was lucky enough to add many minutes", but an untimely injury has left him outside for a few weeks. He adds that this year he will have a lot of competition in his position "because there are four players. It's something I had not experienced before, but my duty is to train, fight for a position and be available to the coach"
Starting on Monday, an intense week begins with the Anoeta's game, the cup tie in Tenerife and, finally, Betis at RCDE Stadium. "We are focused on Monday's game", he admits, but he adds that "we are looking forward to play the Cup. Last year was not what we wanted and we wish to change that, but we do not forget that any rival can hurt you".
He insists on the competitiveness that exists in the League and ensures that "you look at the classification and everything is very even. We have played against great opponents away from home and we have shown a good game dynamics. Of ten matches like the other day, you win nine. We had possession and created 20 arrivals to the area. Playing this way we can only go up in the standings. There are small details that make the match decant from one side or the other. We have to be strong at home and score out if we want to be up".
