First team travel to training camp
The team begins a training camp in San Pedro del Pinatar until 15th December
RCD Espanyol have set off for an off-season training camp in Murcia.
The first team squad travel to San Pedro del Pinatar on Monday to start a training stage in southern Spain until Thursday, 15th December. They will play two friendlies while there, against Italian side Torino and KV Mechelen of Belgium
The players who have travelled are: Joan García, Óscar Gil, Cabrera, Calero, Puado, K. Bare, Joselu, S. Darder, Vini Souza, Lecomte, Brian Oliván, Lazo, Dani Gómez, Edu Expósito, Nico Melamed, Aleix Vidal, Sergi Gómez, Álvaro, Omar, Rubén Sánchez, Simo, Luca Koleosho, Villahermosa, Gori, Roger Martínez and Abde.
Individualised training plans
Simo, Koleosho and Rubén Sánchez are expected to continue with their individual work plans and gradually rejoin group training during the stage.
Gori, who continues his recovery process following his arthroscopy on July 15, will also be part of the trip to San Pedro del Pinatar, a positive step forward after a long period on the sidelines.
For their part, both Adri Pedrosa and Pol Lozano, who are recovering from groin pain and a right knee strain respectively, will continue with their recovery plans at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque. The pair will be able to intensify their respective work processes so that they can rejoin the group dynamic as soon as possible.
Finally, Martin Braithwaite will join up with the squad on Thursday, 8th December after his World Cup participation with Denmark.
