First Preseason Details
The squad will resume their activity on 5 July with the usual physical and medical tests
The RCD Espanyol first team coaching staff have practically closed the team’s preseason. The date marked for the team’s return is 5 July with the usual physical and medical tests, but the squad will undergo a round of PCR and serologic tests the day before.
The squad will be split into different groups on 5 and 6 July, in order to undergo the usual physical and medical tests. The first training session together will take place during the afternoon of 6 July in the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque. The squad will continue with their preparation in the white and blue facilities until 18 July. Before then, the team will play a friendly match versus C. Gimnàstic de Tarragona on the 17th at 8 pm in the Nou Municipal de Tarragona.
On 19 July, the white and blue squad will head to Marbella where they will stay until 30 July. The team is expected to play several friendly matches yet to be confirmed.
Once this stage in the area of Marbella is complete, the team will return to train in the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque, pending on confirmation of some other preparation match before starting LaLiga on the weekend of 14 -15 August.
