Spanish goalkeeper agrees deal with the club through to 2026

Fernando Pacheco has signed for RCD Espanyol from UD Almería.

RCD Espanyol and UD Almería have reached an agreement for the transfer of the goalkeeper, who signs a deal until 2026.

Pacheco arrived at Almería last year, having previously played for Real Madrid and Alavés throughout his career. The 30-year-old has made over 300 senior appearances while also representing Spain at youth international level.

He becomes the latest addition to Diego Martínez’s squad in the winter transfer window, and the third on deadline day along with Denis Suárez and José Gragera. Pacheco will undergo his medical on Wednesday, while the Club will confirm the date of his presentation in the coming hours.
