The club has decided to dismiss the Catalan from his responsibilities as coach of the first team
The RCD Espanyol of Barcelona informs that David Gallego has been dismissed from his responsibilities as coach of the first men team. The club has taken this decision as a result of the performance of the first team and with the clear idea to redirect the current situation of the white and blue team in LaLiga.
The RCD Espanyol thanks David Gallego for his dedication and work in these past six seasons in the club, where he has been an important figure and has achieved many successes as a coach of grassroots football.
In his six seasons with the club he has been champion of the Third Division -and the subsequent promotion to the Second Division B-, two leagues with the Junior A and a runner-up in the Juvenile Champions Cup. In addition, he has been a key player in the training of many players of the first squad.
