Double debut delight

Ian Forns and Omar Sadik both made their LALIGA debuts in the win over Levante UD

Last Sunday was not only a great day with the win over Levante UD, but a special one for Ian Forns and Omar Sadik.

The academy players both made their LALIGA debuts on matchday 25, as Luis Miguel Ramis named the pair in his starting lineup at the Stage Front Stadium. They had already made their men’s first team debuts earlier in the season in the Copa del Rey, but have now taken a big step in their respective careers by playing in the league.

It proved to be a successful debut for Ian and Sadik, as RCD Espanyol secured a 2-1 win to move within one point of the automatic promotion spots. A proud day for the academy graduates, the Club and the entire Espanyol family.
