Dolan undergoes successful surgery

Femení goalkeeper has intervention on ACL injury sustained this month

RCD Espanyol Femení goalkeeper Emily Dolan has undergone a successful surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Dolan had the surgery on her right knee this Tuesday, having sustained the injury in the match against SD Eibar Femenino earlier on in November. Following the surgery, the blanquiazul player will begin a rehabilitation process that will last for the next few months.

Speaking after the procedure, Dolan said, "Now there is a lot of work ahead, all slowly but surely. See you back on the pitch soon, pericos and pericas."
