Darder, eighth signing!
The midfielder from Mallorca will play on loan from Olympique Lyon
Midfielder Sergi Darder Moll (Artà, 1993) will play on loan for Espanyol after the agreement reached with Olympique Lyon. The operation includes a purchase option at the end of the season that will be mandatory if the player achieves certain sports goals.
This will be the second stage of Darder in RCD Espanyol. The midfielder, who played some friendly match with the first team, came to the club in the season 2007-2008 to join Cadet B. The player, under 21 international, covered several stages to be part of the squad of Espanyol B in the Third division.
In the summer of 2012 he concluded his stage in Espanyol and, at a later point, settled in the second team of Malaga. Darder played two seasons with Málaga’s first team. In the summer of 2015 Darder signed for Olympique Lyon.
The agreement is subject to the overcoming of the medical by the player, which will take place tomorrow morning at the Clinic Creu Blanca.
