RCD Espanyol to travel to fourth tier side following World Cup break

RCD Espanyol will travel to CD Atlético Paso in the Copa del Rey second round.

The one-legged tie will take place between 20^th and 22^nd December 2022, with the final date to be confirmed. The Canary Islands side play in the Segunda RFEF, the fourth tier of Spanish football.

Atlético Paso overcame Murcia in the first round, winning 3-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, Espanyol will return to action with the second-round tie, having defeated CD Rincón 3-0 in the first round and the final match before the season break.

The cup fixture will be the first match back after the World Cup break and the penultimate match of 2022, preceding the derby against FC Barcelona.
