RCD Espanyol Femení play a direct rival in SE AEM Femenino this weekend

RCD Espanyol Femení are up against SE AEM Femenino on Sunday, as they travel to the Municipal Recasens on Sunday to take on a team two points ahead of them in the table.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Lleida, coach Carol Miranda said, “It is a very important match for us, because we're playing against a direct rival who, at the moment, are above us in the table. If we want to be in the position we want at the end of the season, we have to win to close the gap".

She added, "SE AEm are an organised team and take advantage of any mistake to do damage. We will have to be very attentive in both areas and it will be crucial to be forceful in order to win. We must be aware of what we have at stake. We are lucky to be at this Club and to be able to enjoy this game that can allow us to aspire to something very big".
