Blanco: "We have to try to maintain the dynamic we have"

The coach previews RCD Espanyol B's away trip to Formentera

RCD Espanyol B are in good form at present, after overcoming a difficult streak of results. Luis Blanco's side want to continue this upturn against SD Formentera on Sunday at the Estadio Municipal de Formentera, in an 11am kickoff. A win would consolidate the team's presence in the playoff spots.

“We have to try to maintain the dynamic we have. The performances have been positive and very good results have been achieved from them. The players have taken a step up just when there is little time left before the end of the season," said the coach ahead of the match.

"The feeling is good. We have to keep that going away to Formentera, but we are facing a great side who still have a chance of getting into the playoffs. It will be a very difficult game, but what is truly important is that we have recovered that competitiveness."

Of the opposition, Blanco also commented that “they are a team who have kept the same coach since last season. They have different ways of playing. In addition, there is another added factor because the trip is somewhat different to the others that we have to make. We will have to adapt to everything, but these circumstances are typical of the difficulty of the division and the opponents. They're going to make things very difficult for us and I'm sure it's going to be tough there."
