Blanco: “It is going to be a very enticing match”
The RCD Espanyol B coach is lookign forward to this weekend's play-off first leg
Luis Blanco is looking forward to the all-B team play-off in the Segunda RFEF, as RCD Espanyol continue their promotion push on Saturday.
The young pericos welcome Atlético de Madrid B to the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque in the first leg of the play-off, looking to start as they mean to go on against their rivals. Coach Blanco spoke of his excitement for the tie on Friday, as well as seeing blanquiazul fans come out to support his side.
Blanco said, “The play-offs have arrived and we are going to fight for promotion. We are very excited and preparing for the match in the best way. We are counting down the hours until this match arrives, which will be very enticing for everyone”.
He added, “Atlético de Madrid are a very good group of players, they picked up many points in their group and have had a great season. They are a young team, like us, with very difficult matches… after all, they are Atlético. They have had a great season and it will be an enticing match”.
Blanco concluded, “We all have our role to play and everyone will have to help us achieve the goal. We hope that people come to the match and that the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque looks good; the boys appreciate it and need it”.
