Aina Torres joins RCD Espanyol Femení

The midfielder returns to Espanyol after seven years

Aina Torres has signed for RCD Espanyol Femení for the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old returns to Espanyol after reaching a short-term agreement with the Club, having previously worn the blanquiazul shirt in the 2015/16 season. Torres arrives in Barcelona from Italian side Ternana where she arrived last summer.

Torres is an experienced player with a winning character, arriving to add experience and quality to the squad. In that time, she has accumulated extensive experience across Europe with Santa Teresa de Badajoz, Córdoba and, most recently, Ternana.

She joins Alba Mellado and María Pi as the new arrivals so far in the January transfer window, as Carolina Miranda's squad is strengthened ahead of the second half of the season.
