Adriana Martín leaves RCD Espanyol
The legendary Femení striker ends her second stint and time with the Club
Adriana Martín has left RCD Espanyol upon the expiry of her contract.
The Femení striker calls her time on her second stint at Espanyol, having previously adorned the white-and-blue shirt between 2005 and 2009. It brings an end to an association of seven seasons in total, where she established herself as one of the best to defend the badge.
Adriana arrived in early 2022 and soon became a very important player under then-coach Rubén Casado. The goalscoring success of the forward was decisive for the team to fight for promotion to the first tier until the final day.
This season she was once again a very important player, although injuries have affected her performance. Adriana brings an end to her second stint at Espanyol, having won two Copa de la Reina trophies and one league title.
Apart from her sporting performance, Adriana has been an example due to her involvement in the social activities of the perico family and her availability to always collaborate with the club no matter what.
The Club thanks her for her professionalism, involvement, commitment, effort and dedication during these seven seasons and wishes her the very best of luck in the world in her new professional and personal challenges.
