A step forward
Jurado believes that "we will see a more attacking Espanyol" against At. Madrid
After the victory last Sunday in Leganés, Espanyol faces a new challenge with intact excitement. The squad is cautious but confident and optimistic about the visit of At. Madrid. José Manuel Jurado former player of At. Madrid in two stages said that ‘rojiblancos’ "have proven to be a great team. They fight in two competitions and they have become one of the great ones in Spain and Europe. They are a very tough opponent to defeat".
Jurado insists that they will face a team that "becomes strong every game. They never give a ball for lost and have very good players so they are a great team".
He said that Atlético "also plays a lot. They are fighting for the third place in the League and have been in the Champions League semi-finals" that comes to show "the potential they have. I think we will see a more attacking Espanyol at home".
He reiterates that, in the six remaining games for the end of the championship, "we will try our best. We want to win. This is a pretty match to compete. We have to make things right and give a joy to the fans. We should think about going step by step. There is a lot at stage. It's what the best league in the world has".
